POSITION DESCRIPTION: Reporting to the Operations Manager, the LTL Lead is responsible for leading and coordinating the daily workflow for the LTL shipping team; ensuring clear direction, and balanced workload distribution. In this role, you will lead by example through effective communication, while working beside fellow Warehouse Associates in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong leadership, organizational and customer service skills, as well as compliance in upholding all of Solve’s processes, safety and quality standards.
RESPONSIBILITIES:

RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Oversee all aspects of the LTL/truck shipping area, ensuring accurate picking, staging and loading of outbound freight while maintaining strong attention to detail and quality
- Identify and communicate any maintenance needs, carrier issues or operational conditions that could impact safety, quality or productivity within the LTL shipping area to the Operations Manager
- Serve as the key point of contact for LTL carriers and truck drivers
- Act as a liaison with the Sales organization by providing timely updates on the status of LTL orders, helping to resolve shipment questions and ensuring clear communication on delivery expectations
- Maintain a safe organized and clean working environment, ensuring compliance with all safety guidelines and protocols
- High School Degree or Equivalent
- 2+ Years Warehouse experience
- Forklift Certified
- Ability to lift and/or move up to 50 pounds
- Proficiency working with an RF Scanner
- Experience with Microsoft Office (Excel/Outlook)
- Previous Team Lead Experience
- Experience having worked with bearings and/or power transmission component parts
