POSITION DESCRIPTION: Reporting to the Quality Supervisor, the Rework Associate is responsible for the overall metal reworking process of specified Solve products, following documentation and instruction from the Quality Department. The ideal candidate will utilize their mechanical aptitude, coupled with their high attention to detail to interpret basic blueprints and drawings. The Rework Associate will be responsible for grinding, greasing, assembling and painting product to satisfy the requested product amendments. The ideal candidate should be able to demonstrate a working knowledge of mechanical principles in their daily operations.
RESPONSIBILITIES:

RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Ensure reworked quality is maintained in accordance with customer drawings and specifications
- Interpret associated documentation for reword or non-conforming product and amend/adjust standard products through various metal processing methods
- Utilize the Imperial and Metric measurement systems to ensure product meets the specifications listed from the direction of the Quality Department
- Daily use of basic hand and power tools in the rework process
- Consistent communication with the Quality Supervisor about possible quality issues, and/or trends
- Comply with various ISO operating procedures and work instructions
- High School Diploma, or equivalent
- 2+ years related fitting and parts handling experience
- Basic understanding of Imperial and Metric measurements
- Ability to lift/push/pull 50 lbs.
- Ability to use basic hand tools
- Experience working in the bearings or power transmission industry
- Machining experience
- Material processing experience
