POSITION DESCRIPTION: Reporting to the Operations Manager, the Production Supervisor is responsible for managing day-to-day workflow of the Roller Manufacturing Department. This position will manage a small team of Production Associates and Machine Operators, acting as a “player-coach,” and managing various hands-on production responsibilities. The Production Supervisor will be expected to multi-task and lead by example, in this fast-paced, team-oriented environment. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong leadership, organizational and customer service skills, as well as compliance in upholding all of Solve’s safety and quality standards. **2nd shift schedule for this position is: Monday - Thursday, 3:00p - 1:30a (four/10 hr shifts)**

RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Supervise, train and mentor Production Associates and Machine Operators to maintain high performance, in line with team metrics and KPI’s
- Oversee daily production operations within the Roller Department to ensure the highest level of quality, accuracy and on-time delivery
- Collaborate with other departments throughout the organization as needed
- Monitor Associate productivity, and document corresponding production quantities, scrap material and general machine downtime
- Maintain a safe, clean and organized work environment and communicate maintenance needs, quality issues, or other situations that could impact safety, quality or productivity to the Operations Manager
- Identify opportunities for improvement to current production processes and contribute to the development of new initiatives
- Machine set-up, trouble-shooting and light maintenance as needed
- Ensure the organization of all finished product
- Measure roller attributes and features with micrometers and calipers
- High School Degree or Equivalent
- 3+ Years Warehouse experience
- 1+ Years Leadership experience
- Experience driving forklift
- Proficiency working with hand tools
- Machine operating experience
- Ability to push, pull, or lift up to 50 lbs
- Experience with Microsoft Office (Excel/Outlook)
- Previous Team Lead Experience
- Experience having worked with bearings and/or power transmission components
- Experience having worked with Epicor Prophet 21
- Experience with Lean methodologies
