Major Duties and Responsibilities:
To perform this job successfully, an individual must be:
Abilities:
- Deburr parts as needed using proper tools.
- Hone parts.
- Pack parts
- Wash and dip parts.
- Ability to learn to drill, tap and flange.
- Maintaining safe operations by adhering to safety procedures and regulations.
- Occasionally receive, validate, and process incoming parts from outside sources. Activities of this role include notification to purchasing of missing/discrepant packing slips, entering transactions into E2, and handling and processing all necessary paperwork.
- Any other task assigned by management
To perform this job successfully, an individual must be:
- Able to read job travelers.
- Able to work in a team oriented, fast paced environment.
- Able to punch in and out as needed on computers.
- Able to effectively use computers.
- Have solid basic math skills.
Abilities:
- Good listening, problem sensitivity, quick response reaching time, arm-hand steadiness and rate control.
- Observing, receiving, and otherwise obtaining and entering accurate information in B&B ERP system.
- Analyzing information and evaluation results to choose the best solution and solve problems.
- Providing information to supervisors and co-workers via telephone, written form, e-mail or in person.
- The ability to meet strict deadlines or be able to communicate those that cannot be met.
- Must follow all safety procedures and policies as mandated by B&B.
- Ability to stand on hard surface for the entire work shift.
- Frequent walking.
