POSITION DESCRIPTION: The Warehouse Team Member is responsible for executing and supporting warehouse operations with a strong focus on inventory accuracy, process adherence, and WMS/ERP utilization. This individual ensures materials are properly received, transacted, staged, and shipped in accordance with company standards. The ideal candidate will bring experience with inventory control processes, warehouse management systems (WMS), and continuous improvement in warehouse procedures.

RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Put stock away, label parts, re-label parts, perform inventory transactions, package product for inventory and/or shipment, prepare shipments, as well as pick parts from inventory or staging to be used for production needs
- Pick orders from various sources (inventory, storage, staging, etc.) to meet customer contracted shipment criteria
- Properly package and secure parts for transport to eliminate any potential damage
- Receive, validate, and process incoming parts from outside sources
- Ship, validate, and process outgoing components from outside sources, inventory, or direct from production
- Set up and run belt slitting machine
- Load/unload pallets with a standup forklift and/or pallet jacks from delivery trucks and pallet racks
- Responsible to cross train in all the functional areas of the warehouse including those previously mentioned as well as those deemed necessary by supervisor
- Any other task assigned by supervisor and management
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Have a valid driver’s license
- Ability to obtain a forklift license
- Literacy with ability to both read and write clear, complete forms as required by the position
- Good communication skills
- Organized & thorough
- Able to lift up to 50 pounds in a safe manner
- Meticulous and accurate, detail oriented
- Able to work well under pressure
- Team player - able to positively contribute to the team by working well with co-workers and supervisors
- Able to consistently demonstrate good judgment
- An independent worker when necessary
- Able to stand for long periods of time
- Proficient in various computer software, i.e., Microsoft Excel or Word
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
- Possess the background, education, or training (OJT) in clerical/warehouse responsibilities.
